Hello everyone! I created EDM HBG because I wanted to help grow our local EDM community and create more opportunities for local artists to develop and share their passion. I felt like Harrisburg was missing a space that truly represented what the EDM community is all about.

For me, EDM has never just been about the music. I still remember my first rave. The feeling of being welcomed with open arms, being free to be yourself, letting go of everyday stress, and connecting with complete strangers through music. That sense of community is something that's stayed with me ever since.

After attending more than 100 EDM shows and over 20 festivals around the world, I realized what makes this culture so special isn't the production or the ticket sales. It's the people. It's acceptance, creativity, connection, and a shared love for music. That's the feeling I want to bring home to Harrisburg.

EDM HBG isn't driven by profit. It's driven by passion. While some see EDM as a business opportunity, we see it as a community worth investing in. Every event is built to give local artists a platform, help people make new friends, and create a space where everyone feels welcome. If that means keeping things grassroots while we grow, we're proud of that.

We may not have the biggest stages, the largest crowds, or the flashiest production. What we do have is a community that genuinely cares about one another, and local artists who pour their hearts into every set they play.

Instead of chasing numbers, we're focused on building something that lasts. A community where local artists have a place to grow, where people feel comfortable showing up whether they come alone or with friends, and where every event feels authentic. My hope is that years from now, Harrisburg has a thriving EDM scene with more opportunities for local artists than ever before, and that EDM HBG played a small part in helping make that happen.
